Christmas came with a vengeance this year! We have had such a great day and everybody's happy. We started with opening new PJ's last night and reading the Christmas story from Luke. I love reading about the birth of Christ. It always sets a nice tone for our whole Christmas.
Corban got up at 8:15 and then I told him to go wake up his sister. I made both of the kids stay with Brian until I could get some video of what Santa had left. Usually I remember to play some Christmas music while we're opening presents, but I totally forgot this year. Brynn got a nice play kitchen with pots and pans and even stuff for the fridge. She also got a movie, a new dress and other fun things. Corban got a scooter with a helmet to go with it. He got a new movie too and some pants and a couple of t-shirts. We got a few new games and both kids got camping chairs from Grandpa Parkinson. Of course I didn't get still pictures of most of it, but I did video all of it! (And I finally got a Kindle! hooray!)
We spend part of the afternoon over at Grandpa and Grandma Jensen's house. The kids got some fun gifts there too and Grandma made a wonderful dinner.
Tomorrow the Reeds are coming down to spend the night and open presents. It will be my first attempt at cooking a turkey--hope it turns out yummy. I hope I can convince Brian to peel all the potatoes!
We had a wonderful Christmas! I hope all of you did too!

Cook your turkey in the slow cooker! You don't even have to worry about it, and it comes out super moist. Yes, I just said "moist." So yummy!
What a fun Christmas. It's just not the same when the kids are grown. xoxox
