Corban surely doesn't think so! We had a great week celebrating Corban's birthday. On Thursday we dropped Brynn off at Grandma Reed's and then went to Salt Lake. We met up with my friend Jami and her son Coleman. Corban and Coleman are really good friends and they don't get to spend a lot of time together. We rode TRAX to downtown and toured Temple Square. Corban isn't scared of the Christus statue anymore (thank goodness!) and really liked all the planets that are painted on the wall near the statue. Then we walked to the Olive Garden for an early dinner. Good food! We shopped at the Gateway (I could spend A LOT of money at Barnes & Noble!) then headed to the Energy Solutions Arena for the CIRCUS! It was a lot of fun and we saw some amazing things. Thanks Jami and Coleman for a fun day!
That night we slept over at the Reed's. Friday evening, Brian came up and we had a wonderful BBQ. Good potato salad and Ree's baked beans. Yummy! Then Grandma had a birthday cake and Corban got to open presents. He got some fun books, art supplies, a t-shirt and some solar system stuff. He loved it!
Came home that night completely exhausted! On Saturday (Corb's actual birthday) we opened presents first thing. He got a few games, a beanbag, a couple of books and 2 different models of the solar system. He was in heaven! Thank you to everyone. He talked on the phone a lot to his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmas and grandpas.
Later on Saturday we went bowling. Corban loves to bowl. It was a lot of fun. Brynn wasn't scared this time and she liked to help her mom and dad bowl too. Corban and his mom tied with a score of 82! Brian was third with a score of 74. We'll say that Brynn liked to help her Daddy the most!
My first baby is not a baby anymore! He's a big 5! Love you Corban!
