We have had a busy but fun week. We found a local pumpkin patch and had the best time picking pumpkins. We got to go on a hay ride pulled by a tractor out to the patch. We walked and walked and found 11 pumpkins to bring home. They look great on our front steps. Hopefully the vandals who destroyed our pumpkins last year will leave these alone.
Last Friday we headed up to Salt Lake to spend the weekend with Brian's family. Our nephew Sean is leaving on a mission to Honduras in 2 weeks and he wanted to spend this weekend with the family. We ate at the Olive Garden, went to the planetarium and then on Saturday, we went to Lagoon. We had fun, but it was really, really cold! On Saturday evening, we drove out to Wendover for Sean's farewell. We ate a lot and visited a lot and just had a great time. Corban and Brian both cried a little when it was time to say goodbye to Sean. Even I got a little emotional. We are really proud of Sean and the decisions that he is making. He's a good example for Corban!

How fun is that! It looks pretty warm, too, or maybe Brian is just tough and doesn't need a jacket. I saw the pictures from the porch with your pumpkins...so festive! Don't you love fall?
What fun!

Didja wave in our general direction when you were up this way? I'm glad you had fun! I'm going to frequent your blog more often. It seems you had a stint where you didn't update much and I got out of the habit of checking. NOT that I EVER update! I want to know who comes up with the words for word verification. Mine is clowb. Interesting!
